Snapshot Case Manager
Reston, Virginia
Important: This position is for a case manager not a genetic genealogist. Candidates
must be located in the Northern Virginia area and able to travel to and work in the Reston office at least one time per week.
Parabon® NanoLabs, based in Reston, Virginia, seeks a Case Manager for the company's Snapshot® Advanced DNA Analysis Service ("Snapshot") and Affinity™ DNA Testing Service ("Affinity") divisions.
Responsibilities

The Case Manager will:
- Serve as primary point of contact for customers and prospective customers, which include detectives/investigators, DNA analysts, consumers and attorneys
- Provide customer support throughout the entire Snapshot and Affinity workflow
- Perform quality control (QC) reviews on Snapshot and Affinity reports
- Schedule and host Snapshot briefings and training sessions (in-person and via video conference) for law enforcement and forensic personnel
- Prepare sample submission paperwork and ship DNA collection kits
- Manage trade show logistics, including shipping, set-up and staffing of trade show exhibit booths
- Develop and execute marketing, business development and communication plans
- Assist with the development of marketing content (print and digital)
- Use customer relationship management (CRM) software tools on a daily basis to increase business development, marketing and sales effectiveness
- Meet and monitor business development and sales targets
- Perform customer and prospective customer outreach, respond to sales inquiries, and assist with order fulfillment
- At least three (3) years professional work experience either in a criminal justice organization, with direct involvement in violent criminal and/or unidentified human remains investigations, or (b) working in a business development role
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail (e.g., experience successfully performing quality control audits or data integrity oversight)
- Must be able to work in the office in Reston, Virginia during normal daytime business hours at least one day per week and go into the office on a moment’s notice all other work days
- Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant industry field, such as criminal justice, forensic sciences, life sciences, marketing or communications
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of the criminal investigation process
- Possess and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills [English]
- Demonstrate strong proficiency using Google Enterprise software, such as Google Docs, and/or Microsoft office tools, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and virtual meeting software, such as WebEx Meetings, Calling & Teams
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently
- Located in the Northern Virginia area and able to be in the Reston office at least one time per week.
- Willingness to travel to support trade shows and business development meetings (~20% of time)
